當熱情不再 when your fire goes out

話說八月中加入了TIVO一個月試用專案 目的是想了解在美國這麼夯的產品 是有什麼過人之處 東錄西錄一些節目後 雖然覺得很好玩 但坐在電視機前面的時間實在不多 錄了也沒什麼時間看 昨天因為臨時取消的約會 給了我一些時間回顧上週日的精采節目--charles stanley的講道 記得一個宣教士好友sara曾提到 Charles的講道是少數她會認真聽的 我也很enjoy他的教導 每每聽完都覺得聖靈透過他給我很大的提醒  他的教導不但是聖經 也切合實際生活  像這次他是要談基督徒的熱情  但會先從為什麼基督徒會熱情不再  列舉一些熱情不再的evidence   再告訴你如何保持(恢復)熱情 教導steps 甚至再總結回聖經的話語 ..反正聽來會有理性與感性的領受 滿有聖靈的恩膏 ! 感謝神

前言 提摩太後書1:1-11 關於保羅對提摩太的教導與鼓勵

主軸  我們對耶穌的熱忱會消失 如同火燄落入餘燼 漸漸不發光

忽略屬靈的事之evidence有哪些 

1 忽視聖經 neglect God's words  漸漸地因為各種原因不再讀 神的話 不是決定性的行為 而是慢慢的不再渴望神的話語 視為次要的)
2 begin to compromise 對真理妥協 對神的命令或教導打折扣
3 become defensive about your life  防禦性的解釋自己的行為 譬如若有人問很少看到你上教會 工作家庭等因素很累人等等
4 begin to lose joy 不再有喜樂

How to rekindle your fire 如何對將熄的火搧旺

1 recognize what is happening in your heart  誠實的問問自己是怎麼了 並承認自己目前的景況
2 recall your life when you were on fire 回想過去對上帝火熱的情景
3 repent 向上帝認錯 並承認自己的罪
4 refocus your attention to God 重新對上帝聚焦 
5 read the word of God daily 天天讀神的話  神的話對於我們屬靈生命的火熱度 就像是搧風之於火的旺盛度 (覺得這比喻超讚!)
6 seek the face of God in prayer daily 當然禱告很重要 不是只跟神求東求西 而是與他親密的對話 專注在關係上
7 presevere 堅忍 恆定地做以上的步驟

重點還是回到讀神的話 (不是只是"讀" 而是尋求聽見祂的聲音 見祂的面) 和倚靠聖靈    希望以上的整理對大家有用 有任何疑問 歡迎留言跟我討論唷!

Whereas the object and purpose of our instruction and charge is love,which springs from a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith.


Whenever i don't humbly confess my sins and faults to Him,that means i am trying to escape from His presence.But if I know that he is willing to forgive and want me to get rid of the yucky stuffs in my mind,then i will go to Him right away as i need to ...
then i will be able to truly feel free and rejoicing in Him.

How hard that would be?
It costs me nothing and only a small steps comparing Jesus' BIG step from heaven to earth!
not hard but i was born to be rebellious.
we all were.
Even just simply going to him,i need to ask His mercy and help.

Jesus,help me get things right,get heart right, get right the relationships with others and mostly,get right with you!
Be brave.
That's what love costs,isn't?
To love myself and to love Him,do the right things.

是說讓上帝的憐憫(恩典)如雨降下
創造萬物的祂 主動地來到我們當中 成為我們的樣式 說我們懂得語言 生活在我們當中 呼召我們跟隨祂
最重要的是 祂走上加利利的道路 為千千萬萬他所愛的人揹起那沉重的十字架 擔負我們該承擔的 流出他寶貴的血 恩典的血 憐憫的血
為要拯救我們這些對罪惡 死亡掙扎不休但毫無辦法的人 耶穌帶我們指向神 帶我們通往天堂的道路 除他沒別法 祂奇妙的恩典

基督信仰的中心就是神的恩典
人無法測透 也不在我們的邏輯中
但若非白白去領受耶穌生命 可能永遠無法經歷 也無法體會神的愛

As I was trying to start working on the application document for business school admission,God's words remind me that He is the center and he is the reason.
Don't just do stuffs when I feel like to
Don't just plan my life based on the opinions from other people or the world.
If he is not the center,if he is not even in the plan,how can I say I love him and he is my Lord.
Do we sometimes just plan things on our own, put ourselves in the centere and then pray that God will be our helper?
we get mad and frustrated if he is not on our side.
Is it fair for him to love us that way?
well..he is God.why not? and He is supposed to love us in a great way.

When and how can we ever learn this simple lesson that he commands?

-Love God with all our heart ,with all our strength,with all our soul and with all our mind.
-Only worship Him. See him(also behave)as a GREAT God not our "god" in our little box.

very simple but hard.

This is how He is:
He still loves us and await us to be drawn close to him patiently.
Unconditionally.

But sometime we easily think his love like human's love,which is conditional.
we do good and then get the approval,get love.
we earn love from others and take back our love if we don't feel worthy to give.
smart people yet foolish in His eye.
no wonder we have a hard time to get the gospel unless holy spirit reveals it to us.


God
help me not turn my back from you and miss your love with my narrow understanding.
remind me to seek you in every step i take.
i would know it's YOU build the house, YOU watch over the city.
Credit is yours.
I would just be satisfied with your love and your smile on me.

i pray for the girl i taught last night.if i gonna be her tutor,put your love for her in me.

當我靜下來讀bible
歌羅西書colossians 1:15-17
he is the image of the invisible God,the firstborn over all creation.
For by him all things were created:
things in heaven and on earth,
visible and invisible,
whether thornes or powers or rulers or authorities;
all things were created by him and for him.
He is before all things and in him all things hold together.

突然 想到那天跟x同事聊到耶穌時 祂為我們而死 代替我們該付上的罪時 她的反應她的表情
讓我很難過
福音書上曾描述 當他為他所愛的人走上加利利的道路時 換來的卻是不屑 輕蔑或冷漠
但耶穌不但也為這些人死 或這些人活 在十字架上極痛苦時 仍為這些唾棄他的人代求 求父的赦免

這是什麼樣的愛.....

夾雜著為義的難過和自己也同樣對不起祂的心境 我流下淚來
主阿 我的生命有向你呈現這樣的態度嗎?

好累 終於準備完成 IIT的申請文件 唉其實是沒有很想申請這間學校 就一直拖到最後一天才動 ...ORZ

不知道 上帝我實在不知道ROCHESTER會不會要我 其實有時後覺得有信心 有時候又沒有 覺得根本不可能!
但最近在決定放榜後五月下旬去紐西蘭玩時 卻又莫名的覺得要考慮如果上了的話..
真的是不能倚靠自己的感覺 而是倚靠 神你自己 因為凡事在你都有可能!
想想以色列人在曠野的日子....上帝幫助我不要重蹈他們的覆轍~
也許在這等待的過程中 你要我學習仰賴祢 單單信靠祢 學習放手 學習理智的看清自己 敬畏祢~

覺得很安慰 很平安的信息~
對一個跟隨耶穌 服事耶穌 愛耶穌的僕人是很有鼓勵的! HERE IS THE MESSAGE:

"If God has called you to be really like Jesus in all your spirit, He will draw you into a life of crucifixion and humility, and put on you such demands of "obedience, that He will not allow you to follow other Christians, and in many ways He will seem to let other good people do things which He will not let you do.

"Other Christians and ministers who seem very religious and useful may push themselves, pull wires, and work schemes to carry out their plans, but you cannot do it; and if you attempt it, you will meet with such failure and rebuke from the Lord as to make you sorely penitent.

"Others may brag on themselves, on their work, on their success, on their writings, but the Holy Spirit will not allow you to do any such thing, and if you begin it, he will lead you into some deep mortification that will make you despise yourself and all your good works.

"Others will be allowed to succeed in making money, or having a legacy left to them, or in having luxuries.
